La política exterior argentina frente a la nueva “gran estrategia” de Estados Unidos

Resumen: Contrariamente a lo que algunos analistas asumen, Estados Unidos continuará siendo una gran potencia. Y es por este motivo que debe ser considerado un actor clave a la hora de pensar la futura política exterior argentina. En este artículo también sostengo que Estados Unidos ha adoptado una nueva gran estrategia, y que esta consiste en contener el ascenso de China como potencia hegemónica. La Argentina debe por lo tanto considerar esta realidad, sobre cualquier otra, tanto a la hora de entender el accionar futuro de la potencia occidental como cuál debería ser su relacionamiento con esta.

Title: Argentine foreign policy facing the new “grand strategy” of the United States
Abstract: Contrary to what some analysts assume, the United States will continue to be a great power. Therefore, it should be considered a key actor when thinking about future Argentine foreign policy. In this article I also argue that the United States has adopted a new grand strategy, and that it consists of containing the rise of China as a hegemonic power. Argentina must therefore consider this reality, above any other, when it comes to understanding the future actions of the Western power and its relationship with it.
